CDC Report Points to Health and Safety Advantages of Home-Owned Pools, says Anthony & Sylvan Pools
Monday, June 21st, 201006.02.2010 – DOYLESTOWN, PA – According to a report released recently by The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), one in eight public swimming pools were shut down after inspections for reasons varying from dirty water to missing safety equipment.
“This report illustrates that we should never take for granted the health and safety of a public pool,” said Tom Casey, Vice President of Anthony & Sylvan Pools, the largest builder of in-ground concrete pools in the Northeast. “In reality, the safest pool of all is the one you can maintain and monitor in your own backyard.”
